He's the latest in a very long line of pets.
1 mouse, 2 fish, 3 rats, 4 guinea pigs (all in pet heaven)
4 really dumb dogs (who decided we weren't compatible and ran away)
1 cat (still here)
Pets supposedly teach kids responsibilty blah, blah, blah.
Truth is, the husband felt sorry for the boy child being surrounded by all these girls and decided that he needed a furry brother.
Which means I now have six kids. Yay for me.
I'm not a dog person.
I don't fall for puppy dog eyes.
I don't care for dogs humping my leg.
Dogs smell and shed fur all over the place.
Picking up warm dog poo is absolutely revolting.
Picking up warm dog poo is absolutely revolting.
I will say this though.
Dog owners are the friendliest people in the world.
If you're ever feeling lonely, head down to your local busy dog park. You'll be showered with puppy love and have the most random conversations with dog owners.
The dog park wears the kids out too.
Should of charged for all the dog baths they gave.
And yes, he's obsessed with skateboards like these little guys.
And thanks to an unfortunate incident at the dog park today with the overenthusiastic dog, a skateboard and one seriously pissed off dude, the little girls have now added
"Hold onto your F*CKING dog!"
to their already colourful vocabulary.
See, having a dog teaches kids all types of things.

Bahahahaha yes some interesting things can be added to the kids vocab whilst out and about.
I swear my 1yr olds first sentence will be something like "where did you learn to drive" " don't you know what an indicator is" or "what shade of green are you waiting for" (feel free to add swear word of choice into each of those sentences. But I'll only have myself to blame for this ;)
I'm also not a pet person and every time I put my foot down and say no more, we somehow end up with a new pet. We are now down to 1 large slobbery dog who chews everything in sight and a very fat cat that I'm allergic to.
Lesson of the day-
How to meet people and make new friends.
1. find a dog park.
2. go there.
3. wear old clothes.
Got it.
dog people always have a spot for dogs. U can just tell when someone is not adog person... The dog always goes to that person to say hi! x
I am absolutely a dog person, and you're right about the random friends you can make at the park!
Wash bay at the dog park is an awesome idea!!!
I love that dog who love to skate.
