I was telling Naomi from Seven Cherubs that I did not have one single photo with me and all five of the kids together.
I'm the token photographer in the family and so as a result, I'm never in any photos.
I was determined to get at least one half decent group shot into the family photo album.
So on Sunday we dragged all of them down to Burleigh Beach.
This is as good as it got, with the camera propped up on a rock.
It'll do for now.
The kids collected shells and
after I bitched and moaned at them happily posed for some more snaps.
Afterwards, while the husband cooked up a mean BBQ breakfast, the kids took turns skateboarding down the hill.
No epic stacks, thank God.
Then Jazz and I donned our super cool sunnies and went on a covert spying mission because guess what they were setting up next to our BBQ?
I'm a sucker for anything wedding related. I've talked about my sad addiction to wedding reality shows before.
They would have gotten amazing shots with the storm clouds building up behind them.
Very pretty white flowers with lilac and purple ribbons.
Gorgeous frou frou princess style dress.
She walked down the aisle to one of my wedding songs, Pachelbel's Canon.
Yes, I shed a tear. Luckily the husband didn't see.
That would have been totally embarrassing.
Crying at a stranger's wedding.
Do you like all the nosy bystanders?
We sat at our picnic table, munching on bacon sandwiches while they had their ceremony,
oblivious to all the kids
skateboarding down the hill.
Lots of words on a Wordless Wednesday post but whatever. Link up with My Little Drummer Boys.
